Using Shyaka
Shyaka is a wardrobe, outfit-planning and friends app with classified listings. You must be 13 or older to use it, and 18 or older to sell. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
Your content
Photos, looks, posts and listings you add stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people you choose, only so the app can work. Do not add content you do not have the right to use, and do not add other people's photos without their permission.
Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, scams and anything illegal are not allowed. We review reports, normally within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and block the accounts that post it. You can report and block people, posts and listings from the app.
What you may not sell
Market is for clothes, shoes and accessories you own. You may not list:
- weapons, or anything made to look like one;
- used underwear or used swimwear;
- medicines, and cosmetics or toiletries that have been opened;
- counterfeit or replica goods, or anything that copies another brand's trademark;
- stolen goods;
- goods that have been recalled for safety;
- anything else that is illegal to sell in Egypt.
When you sell
By publishing a listing you confirm that you own the item and have the right to sell it, and that the photos and description are accurate and honest about its condition. Listings are reviewed before they go live. Publication costs a fee for seven days, paid through Apple in-app purchase. The fee pays for showing the listing, not for the clothes.
Shyaka is not a shop: there is no checkout, shipping, returns or payout. Buyers and sellers deal with each other directly, at their own risk. Meet in a public place, check items before paying, and never send money in advance. We do not guarantee any sale, buyer, seller or item.
When we remove a listing
We may remove any listing that breaks these terms, and we do not refund the fee for a listing removed for breaking them. Apple's own refund rules still apply. If we remove a listing by mistake, we will put it back or give you a free re-listing for the days it had left.
Counterfeits and trademarks
If you own a trademark or copyright and believe a listing or post infringes it, email ahmednoeman04@gmail.com with the subject "Trademark or copyright notice". Include a link to or screenshot of the listing, what you own, and how to reach you. We will review it and remove what infringes.
Ending your account
You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. Features may change or be switched off. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it, from other users' content, or from dealings between buyers and sellers. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts that will hear disputes will be named here before public launch.
