Shyaka

Shyaka for WooCommerce

Show your shop’s pieces in Shyaka

Shyaka is an iPhone app that helps women decide what to wear from the clothes they already own, and shows pieces from local shops that complete the look. Shoppers who tap Buy go straight to your own checkout with the piece already in the cart. You keep every sale; Shyaka never handles payments.

Download the plugin (version 1.0.0)

Needs WordPress 6.3 or newer, WooCommerce 8 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer, and a site on https.

Install

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, then Add New Plugin, then Upload Plugin, and choose the file you downloaded. Press Install Now, then Activate.
  2. Open WooCommerce, then Shyaka, and press Connect to Shyaka.
  3. WooCommerce asks you to approve Shyaka. Press Approve. This proves the shop is yours; Shyaka never sees your WordPress password.
  4. Tick Show in Shyaka on the products you want in the Market: on each product’s page, with the bulk actions in your product list, or with the switches on the Shyaka page. Changes reach Shyaka within a minute.
  5. Link your shop to the Shyaka app: the Shyaka page shows a one-time code. Scan it with your iPhone’s camera, or tap Open in Shyaka on your iPhone.

What Shyaka reads

WooCommerce’s approval screen says read access could also show orders, customers, coupons and reports, because WooCommerce has no products-only option. Shyaka only ever reads your products: names, descriptions, prices, photos, sizes and colours, and whether they are in stock. It never reads orders, customers or payments. More in our privacy policy.

Plans

Shops that join now are founding shops and pay nothing until 30 April 2027. After that, plans are paid by invoice. You choose a plan under WooCommerce, then Shyaka, then Settings.

Disconnect

Press Disconnect under WooCommerce, then Shyaka, then Settings, or deactivate or delete the plugin. We then delete the connection and every product we imported. To also remove Shyaka’s read-only key, go to WooCommerce, then Settings, then Advanced, then REST API, and revoke the key named Shyaka.
